YC2 is a local coalition that focuses on the education of mental health and drug abuse in kids within the CPS system. YC2 works with both local and national, bringing together and make available important resources for CPS kids.

The Missouri Child Psychiatry Access Project (MO-CPAP) was created because there are not enough Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists to help children who need behavioral health services.

MO-CPAP can provide expert support to your child's health care provider for behavioral and mental health challenges. MO-CPAP can help your provider find resources or connect you and your child with services.

As a parent, you can approach suicide prevention in the same way you do other safety or health issues for your children. By educating yourself, you can learn what puts kids at greatest risk for suicide – and what protects them most strongly.

While there is no single cause for suicide, there are risk factors and warning signs which may increase likelihood of an attempt. Learning them can save lives.

Founded in 2008 by licensed clinical mental health counselor Ronnie Walker, the Alliance of Hope is a national organization is a non for profit 501(c)(3) focused on providing healing support for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Walker founded the organization in honor of losing her step son to suicide in 1995. The Alliance focuses on kindness and acceptance, stating that compassion and support is what is needed most after such a tragic event.

Children’s Grove was born out of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Concerned citizens envisioned a public place of peace to symbolize our community's commitment to the well-being of children everywhere. A grove of beautiful trees was planted in the northeast corner of Stephens Lake Park in Columbia, Mo.  The organization's mission is to inspire a culture of kindness and to support the mental and emotional well​-being of our youth.

Missouri Suicide Prevention Network is devoted to being the statewide leader of suicide prevention efforts.
